The Chevrolet C30A was the lighter 30cwt member of the CMP truck family — smaller and more manoeuvrable than the C60 series, it filled the gap between the light C15A and the heavier C60 variants. In general service configuration with all-steel body it carried the lighter loads that required more agile delivery — signals equipment, medical supplies, and the miscellaneous small loads that kept a formation running. In 1/35 scale the C30A's compact proportions become apparent as a genuinely different-sized vehicle from the larger CMP trucks, and the steel body provides clean surfaces that reward careful painting and weathering at this scale.
