The V3000S/SSM Maultier with tall cargo bed and tarpaulin represents a further body variant within the Maultier family — the higher cargo sides and fitted tarpaulin providing better protection for sensitive loads like ammunition, signals equipment, and food in adverse weather. The tarpaulin cover also changes the visual character of the model significantly, the canvas roof creating a softer, more rounded silhouette than the open-bed versions. Together with the standard cargo and open-bed Maultier variants, this version completes a comprehensive picture of the Maultier family's cargo-carrying configurations.
