The OT-34/76 was the flamethrower variant of the legendary T-34/76 — produced in substantial numbers for the Red Army to provide a close-support weapon against fortifications, bunkers, and entrenched infantry that conventional tank guns struggled to suppress. The flamethrower equipment replaced the hull machine gun with a flame projector while retaining the main gun, giving the OT-34 a conventional appearance with a devastating hidden capability. Used extensively in the urban fighting of the Eastern Front and in the reduction of fortified positions, the OT-34 was one of the most feared weapons on the battlefield and one of the most effective tools of Soviet combined-arms warfare. An important and unusual T-34 variant from ICM.
