The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B — the King Tiger, or Tiger II — was the most heavily armoured and powerfully armed tank to see service in significant numbers during the Second World War, with 100mm to 180mm of sloped frontal armour that was effectively immune to most Allied tank guns at combat ranges. ICM's full interior kit of the late production King Tiger takes the model to its ultimate expression, with a complete and detailed representation of the fighting compartment, engine bay, and crew areas that transforms the King Tiger from an exterior model into a cutaway display of the engineering achievement it represented. The hull and turret can be posed open to display the interior, providing a modelling project of real depth and complexity.
