The Studebaker US6 was one of the most important trucks of the Second World War — supplied to the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease in enormous numbers and used across every Allied army, it was renowned for its reliability, power, and capacity in conditions that destroyed lesser vehicles. The U5 gasoline tanker variant carried the fuel that kept Allied armour and aviation moving, making it one of the war's most critical logistics vehicles. Patton's tanks ran on gasoline delivered by trucks like this, and Soviet armies credited the Studebaker US6 as an essential component of their eventual victory.
