The M3 Bradley Cavalry Fighting Vehicle is the reconnaissance variant of the Bradley family, optimised for the scout and screening role with additional ammunition stowage and fewer infantry seats to allow more equipment for extended independent operations. The M3 has served with US cavalry units since the 1980s, providing armoured reconnaissance capability that bridges the gap between light wheeled scouts and the heavier M1 Abrams-equipped forces. In Ukrainian service, Bradley variants have demonstrated their effectiveness in conditions that have surprised many observers, and the M3 in particular represents the reconnaissance capability that modern armoured forces depend on for situational awareness. A natural companion to ICM's M2 Bradley kit.
