ICM’s Ships of the Kriegsmarine acrylic paint set (3029) brings together a themed selection for scale-model, figure and diorama painting.
Painting your subject
Small naval craft need more than a single overall grey: deck fittings, weapons and equipment all contribute to the finished model. This Kriegsmarine-themed set combines grey and earth tones with metallic and red detail colours. ICM specifically lists its KFK boat S.018 among the recommended companion kits.
Included colours and finishes
- 1007 Deep Red

On the workbench
Mix each paint thoroughly before use and build up the finish in controlled, thin layers. Check colour choices against the instructions and references for your particular subject. Test any thinner, varnish or weathering product on a spare piece before applying it to your finished model.
