Bring a distinctive American research aircraft to your collection with KP Models’ 1/72 Douglas X-3 Stiletto Prototype, Hi-Tech kit KPH7204.
The Douglas X-3 was built to investigate high-speed aerodynamic and structural ideas. Its exceptionally slender fuselage, pointed nose and small wings give it a striking appearance beside contemporary operational jets. It makes an interesting subject for a collection tracing the development of experimental aircraft.
This boxing represents the experimental X-3 prototype, rather than the fictional operational F-3 depicted in the separate AZmodel release.
