The Tupolev Tu-2 was the Soviet Union's most effective tactical bomber of the Second World War — fast enough to outrun most German fighters when it entered service, and considerably more capable than the aircraft it replaced. It arrived too late and in too small numbers to make the strategic impact it deserved, but served with distinction in the final offensives that swept the Wehrmacht out of the Soviet Union. Meng's mPLANE cartoon series captures the Tu-2's twin-engine profile and distinctive glazed nose in a compact, chibi snap-fit kit. Paint-optional and glue-free.
