The Chinese People's Volunteer Army fought the United Nations forces in the Korean War from October 1950, intervening dramatically to push back the UN advance towards the Yalu River and ultimately stabilising the front near the 38th parallel where it remains today. Meng's cartoon figure series captures a CPVA soldier in the distinctive quilted winter uniform and equipment of the Korean War period in chibi style — expressive, characterful, and ideal as a display companion to period-appropriate armour. Snap-together, no glue required.
