The M24 Chaffee replaced the M3/M5 Stuart as the US Army's standard light tank in late 1944, bringing a genuine 75mm gun to the light tank role and solving one of the persistent criticisms of the Stuart's armament. Fast, reliable, and pleasant to drive, the Chaffee stayed in service with multiple armies well into the Cold War era. Meng's World War Toons series gives the Chaffee's low hull and distinctive long gun the chibi treatment — big wheels, round proportions, and bags of personality. Snap-together and paint-optional.
