American tank crews in the Second World War served across three very different theatres — the desert campaigns of North Africa, the hedgerow fighting of Normandy, and the island warfare of the Pacific — adapting their uniform and equipment to each environment while maintaining the distinctive character of the U.S. Army tanker: the tanker's helmet, the one-piece herringbone twill coverall, and the personal weapons carried at the hatch. MiniArt's set provides U.S. tank crew in the standard mid-war dress that suited North Africa and North-West Europe, with the variety of poses needed to bring a Sherman, Hellcat, or Pershing display to life — heads out of hatches, standing on the hull, or operating alongside the vehicle.
