The I.J.A. Tank Mech "I-GA" 4-Leg Type is part of Modelcollect's imaginative Fist of War alternative-history series, envisioning a parallel Second World War in which the Imperial Japanese Army deployed advanced walker-type armoured fighting vehicles alongside conventional tanks. The four-legged I-GA concept draws on the aesthetic language of Japanese wartime armour while extrapolating it into the realm of science fiction — heavy plated armour, low-slung hull, and four articulated legs replacing conventional tracks. It's a creative "what if" firmly grounded in the visual grammar of WWII Japanese military equipment.
The Imperial Japanese Army's armoured walker that never was — and absolutely should have been.
