The Westland Wallace was a British general-purpose biplane that served the RAF through the mid-1930s, used primarily for army co-operation, target towing, and miscellaneous duties as more modern types displaced it from front-line roles. The PV6 was the private venture designation for the prototype that led to the production Wallace — an aircraft that achieved a modest but genuine place in aviation history when Wallace biplanes of 601 Squadron made the first high-altitude crossings of Mount Everest in 1933. Novo's kit — one of the more obscure Frog toolings to reach the Soviet export market — offers 1/72 scale coverage of a subject that remains genuinely rare in any scale.
