The Toyota Corolla AE92 was the front-wheel-drive weapon that Toyota campaigned through the Japan Touring Car Championship in the early 1990s, and the 1991 Autopolis round was one of the high points of its campaign — a tight, demanding circuit in Kyushu where the AE92's handling balance and reliability made it a consistent frontrunner. The JTC was the pinnacle of Japanese production-based touring car racing before the series ended in 1993, and the cars that competed in it represent some of the most detailed and technically sophisticated Group A machinery ever built. NuNu's 1/24 kit captures the Autopolis car with the accuracy and decal quality that has become the hallmark of this specialist manufacturer.
