RS Models’ 1/72 scale Yak-11 / C-11 Advanced Trainer model kit recreates an important post-war training aircraft. Kit 94009 offers a subject for modellers interested in early Cold War aviation and the aircraft used to prepare pilots for more demanding military flying.
Developed from the Yakovlev fighter family, the Yak-11 combined a radial engine with a tandem two-seat cockpit for instructor and pupil. It served widely as an advanced trainer and was also manufactured under licence in Czechoslovakia by Let as the C-11. Its combination of fighter ancestry and training duties makes it an interesting addition alongside the frontline aircraft of the period.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Unless otherwise stated these models will need some construction and painting. Glues and paints are not included.
