The Tiger II, also known as the King Tiger, entered German service in 1944. Its heavy armour and long-barrelled 8.8 cm gun made it a formidable vehicle, although its weight and mechanical demands complicated its use in the field. Rye Field Model’s 1/35 Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. B with Henschel turret, Upgrade Version (RM-5126), gives armour modellers a late-war German subject for a vehicle display or diorama.
Heavy armour of the war’s final years — the King Tiger in 1/35 scale.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Unless otherwise stated these models will need some construction and painting. Glues and paints are not included.
