The Willys MB jeep and its matching ¼-ton trailer were among the most ubiquitous combinations seen on any Second World War battlefield — the trailer extending the jeep’s practical utility for resupply, ammunition carriage, and casualty evacuation across every theatre in which Allied forces operated.
