The M4A1(76)W Sherman brought a 76 mm gun to the distinctive rounded cast hull of the M4A1. Its wet ammunition stowage was intended to reduce the risk of ammunition fires, while the VVSS running gear retained the familiar narrow-track Sherman profile. Takom’s 1/35 late-production M4A1(76)W VVSS (2207) is a US Army armour subject suited to a late-Second World War display or diorama.
