The Churchill Crocodile was a British flamethrower tank used in the later stages of the Second World War. Based on the heavily armoured Churchill Mk.VII, it carried its fuel in a towed trailer while retaining the tank’s main gun. Crocodiles saw action after the 1944 Normandy landings, particularly against fortified positions. Tamiya’s 1/48 Churchill Mk.VII Crocodile (32594) is a distinctive subject for a British armour display or Normandy diorama.
