The Tiger II with the Porsche turret is one of the rarest and most fascinating variants of Germany's most feared late-war heavy tank. Only the first 50 production vehicles received the initial Porsche-designed turret before it was replaced by the Henschel design — making Fgst.Nr.280009 a historically significant machine from the very earliest batch of König Tigers to enter service.
Trumpeter's 1/16 scale rendition captures this exceptional vehicle with a fully detailed interior, giving modellers access to every compartment: the fighting compartment, driver's station, engine bay, and the complete turret interior including the breech of the 8.8cm KwK 43 L/71 gun. At this scale, the detail rewards close inspection and makes for a centrepiece display model of the highest order.
