The BA-10 was the Red Army’s standard medium armoured car of the late 1930s and early war period, armed with a 45mm gun in a rotating turret shared with the T-26 light tank — unusual anti-tank firepower for a wheeled vehicle of the era. The 1/48 scale version of UM Models’ BA-10 kit provides an ideal companion for Soviet aircraft, artillery, and figure models in diorama settings, the armoured car fitting naturally into airfield defence, reconnaissance, or command scenes. BA-10s served from the Spanish Civil War through the catastrophic early battles of Barbarossa, appearing wherever the Red Army fought in the pre-war and early-war period.
